The 2025-2026 Scholarship Application is now open! Students are encouraged to complete the application in order to be considered for scholarships for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026. Visit the scholarship site to apply today!
If you receive a scholarship that is not awarded by 吃瓜第一线, please mail your scholarship check to the Cashier's Office on Central campus. This applies to ALL checks, including those you may receive as a result of a scholarship award posted to your account. Do not send any checks to the Financial Aid Office, as the Financial Aid Office does not process checks. Doing so will cause a delay in posting your scholarship award. You must be currently enrolled at 吃瓜第一线 or the Cashier's Office will not accept the check. Please refer to the 'How to Pay' tab on the Cashier site for more information on this process.
Are you a Bright Futures Recipient? If yes, your fall courses will be covered by your scholarship. You must be in-state, degree-seeking, and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in order to be funded. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at state@broward.edu.
If you are a new student at 吃瓜第一线, please make sure to update your with 吃瓜第一线's school code (062). This will allow the College to award your Bright Futures scholarship.

Disbursements are not Financial Aid refunds. Disbursements are credits to a student's account from a financial aid fund. This calendar lists the disbursement dates and important information about the types of funds/aid we disburse. Please see the breakdown below for the different fund types.
State Aid: Florida Student Assistance Grant, First Generation Matching Grant, Bright Futures
Institutional Aid: BC Merit Scholarship, Opportunity Grant, 吃瓜第一线 Grant, Financial Aid Award, Achieving Success Grant
Scholarships: Foundation scholarship funds and outside third party scholarships
Disbursements for the Fall term will start weekly after EV ends.

For Non Financial Aid Refunds, please refer to the Student Refunds tab on the Cashier site for more information regarding your refund. Student refunds are refunds of monies paid out of pocket by students that is now covered by Financial Aid or a 3rd Party.
Financial Aid Refunds are refunds of excess financial aid provided by the institution, the state, or the federal government. After courses, fees, bookstore charges, and digital book charges are paid, any excess Financial Aid in your account will be refunded to you via BankMobile. These refunds do not begin until at a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks after the start of each session and not prior to Enrollment Verification for each session.
