Outside Scholarship Checks

If you receive a scholarship that is not awarded by 吃瓜第一线, please mail your scholarship check to the Cashier's Office on Central campus. This applies to ALL checks, including those you may receive as a result of a scholarship award posted to your account. Do not send any checks to the Financial Aid Office, as the Financial Aid Office does not process checks. Doing so will cause a delay in posting your scholarship award. You must be currently enrolled at 吃瓜第一线 or the Cashier's Office will not accept the check. Please refer to the 'How to Pay' tab on the Cashier site for more information on this process.

Bright Futures Award Update

Are you a Bright Futures Recipient? If yes, your fall courses will be covered by your scholarship. You must be in-state, degree-seeking, and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in order to be funded. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at state@broward.edu.

If you are a new student at 吃瓜第一线, please make sure to update your with 吃瓜第一线's school code (062). This will allow the College to award your Bright Futures scholarship.

Financial Aid Refunds are refunds of excess financial aid provided by the institution, the state, or the federal government. After courses, fees, bookstore charges, and digital book charges are paid, any excess Financial Aid in your account will be refunded to you via BankMobile. These refunds do not begin until at a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks after the start of each session and not prior to Enrollment Verification for each session.
